PATH Grant for Healthcare Students

The PATH (Professional Advancement Through Healthcare) grant is a strategic initiative designed to facilitate and accelerate career development in the healthcare sector, particularly in nursing pathways and select healthcare professions. This program is a response to the shortage of healthcare workers stemming from the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The PATH Grant application will open on Tuesday, March 5 and will close Wednesday, March 20 at 12 p.m. This grant is a one-time $500 grant and is a first-come, first-serve grant.

Eligible Healthcare Populations:

  1. Current Workforce Advancement

Focuses on individuals already employed in healthcare who seek to further their education and career progression. The grant aims to provide the necessary resources and support to obtain additional credentials and degrees, fostering professional growth and addressing the shortage of skilled healthcare professionals.

  1. New Entrants with Identified Needs

Addresses the needs of new students entering nursing or healthcare pathways. Recognizing the challenges faced by those at the beginning of their healthcare careers, the grant offers funds to support a smooth transition into the industry. This includes resources such as mentorship programs, educational materials, and guidance to ensure their successful entry into the healthcare workforce.

  1. Low-Income, First-Generation, and Minority Students

This grant also places emphasis on supporting individuals from low-income backgrounds, first-generation college students, and minority communities.
